PokerStars and Right To Play have joined forces to hold a Play Money charity tournament on April 6 - International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
The tournament will be the largest ever multi table tournament event in Play Money history with over 5,000 players expected to take part. For every player that signs up to play, PokerStars will donate $10 to Right To Play - $10 is enough to provide one child with four months of life-changing education through Right to Play programmes and we are hoping to raise enough to enable over 1,500 children access a play-based education for a year.
Some of the biggest names in poker will be taking part including PokerStars Pro and Right To Play Ambassador, Fatima de Melo.
Right To Play and PokerStars first partnered in 2014 and have raised more than £1.5M thanks to donations from their Helping Hands Corporate Giving Programme, as well as the generosity of PokerStars employees and players.
