Make A Difference Through Your University
Transform children's lives while having fun and boosting your CV.
Organise a fundraising event, choose Right To Play as your charity to sponsor, or set up your own Right To Play society today. You’ll be bringing play to the children who need it most.
"We’re all so excited – it’s shaping up to be our biggest year yet!"
How it works
Right To Play partners with university sports clubs, societies and student leaders across the UK to help you transform your passion into positive change for children around the world.
It doesn't matter if you’re already part of a club and want to do a charity fundraiser event, sports night or ball, or are keen to start something completely new. Joining forces with Right To Play is a fun, rewarding way to make a difference, meet like-minded people and build skills that stand out on your CV.
We’ll support you every step of the way — from setting up and running a society to planning fundraising events and campaigns. You’ll get access to fundraising tools, branded merchandise, promotional materials and a wider network of students and supporters, plus exciting opportunities to get involved in events, talks and volunteering.
Starting a Right To Play university society is your chance to build a community around sport for good. You’ll bring your campus together through charity tournaments, fitness challenges, socials and awareness campaigns — all while helping protect children’s right to play, learn and thrive.
"An eye-opening experience and I was able to learn a lot... it was really meaningful."
Why get involved?
By organising a fundraiser or starting a Right To Play society, you’ll develop leadership, teamwork, project management and communication skills that employers love. It's a great way to show off your skills and connect with a network of other student leaders who are passionate about making a difference.
By getting involved, you'll create unforgettable experiences and make a real impact. You'll be supporting us to protect, educate and empower millions of children each year in some of the world's most challenging contexts, including conflict zones, refugee camps and places affected by climate change and natural disaster.
