Postcode Education Trust and Right To Play UK

Right To Play UK receives invaluable support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery through funding awarded by the Postcode Education Trust.

We’re so grateful to players, who are helping us to transform the lives of millions of vulnerable children through play every year in some of the most difficult places on earth.

The vital funding raised by players is supporting Right To Play programmes across Africa, Asia and the Middle East and making it possible to protect, educate and empower children using the power of play.

Postcode Education Trust is a grant-giving Trust funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

A life-changing partnership

The funding raised by players is helping Right To Play UK make a life-changing difference to some of the world’s most vulnerable children, ensuring they have access to quality education and receive critical psychosocial support.

Play is a transformative force in a child’s life and, as global experts in a unique approach to learning, Right To Play is providing children with the essential life skills and confidence to overcome challenges, helping them develop social and emotional skills and improve their learning and holistic well-being.

Globally, more than 244 million children are out of school, and girls in particular often face numerous barriers (such as early marriage and child labour) that prevent them from attending school and claiming their rights. Right To Play’s work promotes gender equality and improves girls’ well-being, ensuring that girls have a voice and can thrive.

Right To Play also supports children living through emergencies, crisis and conflict, including refugee and displaced children worldwide, providing the support and safe spaces they need to cope with trauma, recover, and get back to learning.

Thanks to support from players, Right To Play is able to make a transformative impact on the lives of children affected by war, disease, climate change, violence, poverty, inequality, prejudice and exploitation.
