Right To Play UK held its World Cup Party on Wednesday 10 June at the Emirates Stadium in London, raising over £50,000 to help transform the lives of children in our global programmes.

Featuring Sir Geoff Hurst, hero of England's 1966 World Cup triumph, Arsenal legend Ray Parlour, top football freestyler Mo Omar, and our incredible host, former Olympic ski racer, Chemmy Alcott, the star-studded night was a joyous celebration of play.

Sir Geoff Hurst and Ray Parlour shared their stories from the game and insights and predictions for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The evening also featured friendly competition in our football challenges and World Cup quiz, along with lively bidding in our silent auction and superb food and drink at the incredible pitch-side venue.

A huge well done to Kirkland & Ellis, who were victorious in our team challenges during the evening and lifted the World Cup Party trophy.

Alongside the vibrant atmosphere, the event also shone a spotlight on the power of play and the vital impact Right To Play's programmes are making for vulnerable children worldwide.

Gillian McMahon, Executive Director of Right To Play UK, said: "We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our World Cup Party such a memorable celebration. The World Cup brings people from across the globe together through a shared love of sport and play, and it was inspiring to see to see so many of our supporters unite to celebrate this on Wednesday. Thank you all for being part of this special occasion and helping bring play to the children who need it most."

Our sincere thanks to everyone who made this event possible, including our volunteers, Ambassadors, and all the competing teams.

The guests who attended included a wonderful line-up of sporting stars and ambassadors who generously showed their support.

A massive thank you to our Platinum Teams: CD&R, Debevoise & Plimpton, Goldman Sachs, Kirkland & Ellis, RBC Capital Markets, and TreasurySpring.
