World Championship silver medalist Laviai Nielsen has become one of Right To Play's newest Ambassadors. Inspired from being a kit carrier at London 2012, Laviai has gone on to represent Great Britain at the European and Wold Championships in the 400m. During this time Laviai has been balancing her training with studying Geography at Kings University, successfully graduating this summer. An advocate of women’s rights Laviai has a keen interest in international development and is looking to help make a difference to disadvantaged girls and women around the world. Laviai spoke as part of a panel at Right To Play’s Women’s Network event delivered in partnership with British Athletics. The event focused on the valuable part role models play to motivate, inspire and guide us through whatever journey we are taking in life.
