  • National Director

    The National Director, USA position is a senior leadership role for RTP in the United States and is accountable for fulfilling the goals and objectives of the organization within the USA. The National Director will work closely with our Toronto headquarters as well as colleagues in other National and Regional Offices to achieve global revenue, brand and stewardship goals. Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer of RTP International, and to the Chair of our US Board of Directors, the National Director, USA is responsible for the effective operation of our New York-based national office.

  • Global Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

    The Global Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning will oversee all internal and external program evaluations to develop and promote a learning agenda to inform program strategy, funding decisions and overall strategic direction. As a Director, s/he will create and sustain a continuous improvement culture of innovation, achievement support and learning, and create a compelling vision for the MEL team within the larger Global Programs and Right to Play teams.

  • Play Specialist

    Reporting to the Director, Global Program Development, the Play Specialist will guide Right To Play in reviewing its play approach and methodology to deliver high quality programs in the global South for early childhood, middle childhood, youth and adults. The Play Specialist will advise Right To Play in refreshing its methodology, drawing from the latest research and innovation on learning through play and playful learning in the global South. This will include the four forms of play outlined above, as well as play across the spectrum i.e. from free play to direct instruction within both formal and informal settings. Well-versed in playful learning pedagogies, the Play Specialist will advise on playful pedagogical approaches that will target outcomes in the thematic areas of Education, Child Protection and Gender Equality.

  • Education Technology Specialist

    Reporting to the Director, Global Program Development, the Education Technology Specialist (Ed Tech Specialist) will be responsible for guiding RTP in the design and delivery of high quality distance-learning programs in Africa, Asia and Middle-East. The Ed Tech Specialist will provide technical leadership to create global guidance on education technology, provide capacity building to foster innovation in e-learning and distance learning, and build partnerships to support the design and implementation of distance-learning initiatives. They will provide technical advice on sectoral areas of gamified learning, blended learning strategies, development of learning journeys (curriculum development) and identification of appropriate learning infrastructure for areas with poor internet & digital access.

  • Field Communications Officer, Global Field

    Reporting to the Chief Program Officer based in London and technically to the Global Director, Communications and Marketing, based in Toronto, Canada; the Communications Officer, Global Field shall lead overall development and execution of Right To Play’s internal and external communication strategies in all Country Offices including Ethiopia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Lebanon, Burundi, Uganda, Ghana, Mali, Palestine, Jordan, Rwanda, Thailand and Pakistan. This role manages all aspects of communications planning, including media relations, key messaging; print and audio visual materials, production, writing, and branding.

    Reporting to the Global Director, Country Operations, the Senior Director, Indigenous Programs is responsible for providing high-level oversight, strategic guidance and technical support to Right To Play’s Indigenous Programs in Canada. The ultimate goal of the position is to manage and grow Right To Play’s Indigenous Programs, to increase the quality, efficiency and long-term impact of our programs, and to promote and advocate for sustained high level engagement of civil society organizations and the communities with which we partner. The Senior Director also oversees our Youth To Youth program which works with 50+ Toronto schools and community centres to provide programming for children and youth most in need of recreational and leadership programming.
