  • Accountant, Accounts Payable

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant, Accounts Payable is responsible for the daily, full cycle administration of the accounts payable function. The role requires an understanding of accounting principles and is responsible for ensuring that payables are accurately processed and reconciled. The Accountant, Accounts Payable reviews and processes a high volume of invoices ensuring compliance to all policies and guidelines, and is responsible for flagging/following-up on any overdue items.

The ultimate goal of the position is to manage and grow Right To Play’s Indigenous Programs, to increase the quality, efficiency and long-term impact of our programs, and to promote and advocate for sustained high level engagement of civil society organizations and the communities with which we partner. The Senior Director also oversees our Youth To Youth program which works with 50+ Toronto schools and community centres to provide programming for children and youth most in need of recreational and leadership programming.

    Reporting to the Global Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), The Manager, MEL, Global is generally responsible for supporting the implementation of Right To Play’s measurement work across the organization. Working in collaboration with other MEL team members in Right To Play’s country offices, the incumbent’s primary focus is to use participatory processes to co-manage the implementation of the project’s MEL framework across all countries; to support the development of the necessary systems and processes to carry out this work; and to support country teams in using the monitoring and evaluation systems.
