Right To Play to host World Cup party with 1966 hero Sir Geoff Hurst

Global charity Right To Play UK has announced a new World Cup celebration event to mark the start of the 2026 tournament, with England’s 1966 World Cup hero Sir Geoff Hurst and former Arsenal and England star Ray Parlour as the special guests.
Taking place on Wednesday 10 June 2026 – the eve of the World Cup – at the Emirates Stadium in London, the event will include an exclusive live Q&A where Sir Geoff and other football legends will share stories and insights into the upcoming tournament.
Hosted by former Olympian Chemmy Alcott, guests will participate friendly competition across a range of fun football challenges, taking part alongside famous players. They'll also enjoy premium hospitality, including street food-inspired dining and drinks packages.
